We met in New York City in 2018. Amanda, from South Jersey. Anders, from Australia. We'd both spent our careers scaling brands you may already know, including SoulCycle, Blank Street, WeWork and Bluestone Lane — building and leading teams across brand, operations, and design and construction.
Life moved fast after our first date in 2020: a trip home to Australia, our New York City wedding, a honeymoon across Italy and Greece, and the birth of our daughter. The city we'd built our careers in stopped feeling like the place we wanted to build our life.
So we left and set out to build something entirely our own. A dream we'd had for a long time, and discussed over many negronis and espressos on our honeymoon.
The culmination of every beach and city we've loved, every restaurant, every bar and every detail in the experiences that made us fall in love with hospitality over and over now lives inside The Rocks.
Marlton is where we call home now. And we can't wait to welcome this new community into our world.
